Abstract

The paper presents an effective algorithm, which is robust against geometric attack. The proposal achieves watermark synchronization using SIFT (Scale Invariant Feature Transform). We built some feature regions based on suitable SIFT feature points. The main orientation and scale of the feature point determines the size of the corresponded region. In this paper we argue that the feature regions contain semantic information of the image. Thus we can lay the foundation of our watermark embedding on these regions. Most of these regions can be detected using the improved algorithm. We present an improvement work by using some improved ways. We experimentally show an increase in detection rate and robustness of the watermarks after geometric attacks.
