Abstract
On April 1, 2001, the first legally recognized same-sex marriage in the world took place in the Netherlands. In the act of marrying, same-sex couples declare the moral and social equivalence of their relationships to cross-sex relationships. They change not only their lives but also their societies.
Relationship is the mirror in which we see ourselves as we really are.
