Abstract

Police Minister Stojiljkovic was in his office, dialing numbers and giving orders. On another line he was receiving instructions from Milosevic. He didn’t go to the Ministry of Internal Affairs office, ten yards from his own. The police generals received their orders by telephone. The Parliament had already fallen when it occurred to him to use helicopters. The generals called the colonel in the green room.
