Abstract

“I heard a voice [from the crowd] saying that we will also build a mosque [in Taksim]. Yes, we will also build a mosque. Yes, we will also build a mosque. I will of course not ask the leader of CHP [Republican People’s Party, main opposition party] for his permission and a couple of çapulcus1 for their permission. Those who voted for us have already given us their permission.“2
