Abstract
Social innovation is a practice that is becoming a worldwide movement. I address it in its better nature and take it at its most ambi tious. In this spirit I consider in turn the circumstance, the work, the direction and the methods of the movement.
This chapter is the revised transcript of a talk given on November 15, 2013 at the Social Frontiers Conference in London.
