Abstract
As the final chapter, Chapter 9 concludes the book, reviewing the case study findings and the implications they have for the study of strategic transnational organized crime intelligence. In particular this chapter sets out the theoretical implications of the research findings — specifically the need to revisit the current implementation approaches of the 3-I Model of intelligence-led policing — and identifies future research opportunities — namely further refinement of the two conceptual frameworks presented in Chapter 8 and new research within the fields of policing, law enforcement intelligence and intelligence studies.
