Abstract

Many scenes were planned in the different versions of the script, and not storyboarded or shot. Some were storyboarded, but not shot, and some were filmed, but not used, like a scene when Deckard shoots Pris, and live rats crawl over her corpse. Other scenes were abandoned for budgetary reasons, since the film became too expensive and these scenes demanded extra shootings, expensive visual effects, or technological gadgets (Sammon, 2012).
