Memory, Subjectivities, and Representation

Part of the book series: Palgrave Studies in Oral History ((PSOH))

Abstract

In certain parts of Latin America, constructing a collective memory has acquired tremendous importance in recent years as an understandable consequence of the severe state oppression suffered by the civilian population.
