Abstract
The year 2014 marks the twenty-fifth anniversary of the Tiananmen Massacre. In the long course of history, twenty-five years is but the blink of an eye; for an individual, a quarter of a century takes us from birth through childhood and on into our adult years. It encompasses all the years of our youth. Life unfolds as history evolves.
