Abstract

For many executives, the benefits of social media, mobile technology, and big data have been amorphous—they know that they must engage in these activities but they’re not sure how to monetize the results. They may add 100,000 followers, see thousands of people downloading their mobile application, or collect servers full of data, but translating any of this into something that will directly drive business results seems impossible.
