Abstract
This chapter outlines the methods and approaches used to facilitate the involvement of young people in reviewing several chapters of the. The young people compared and contrasted the participatory aspects of the research discussed by Anne Crowley and made some suggestions drawing on their own experiences of being involved in participatory projects. Similarly, in their discussion of Nuggehalli, Hatton and Jupp-Kina’s work, the young people reviewing the chapters distinguished the different elements and aspects of participation and the development of participatory approaches which are young person-led. In conclusion the young people reviewing these chapters suggested that a greater emphasis on comparative work would elicit a better understanding of the context of participatory projects and allow for discussions about what works.
