Abstract

Research offers compelling rationale and evidence for supporting service-learning in community colleges, but starting a service-learning program and sustaining one over the years is easier said than done. Why is it that some programs take hold and flourish, while others fade away? What can be done to maintain positive momentum in long-standing service-learning programs?
