Abstract

China has been in its high-speed economic growth for the past 30-plus years since 1978, when its reform and opening-up policy started. Its annual growth is recorded as high as about 10 percent, and it surpassed Japan in total GDP volume in 2010, much earlier than previously predicted by China watchers.
