Abstract

AS A SOCIAL ENTREPRENEUR YOU ARE CONSTANTLY undergoing a variety of evaluations. Funders monitor your work and ask you to report on your performance. You monitor and provide feedback to employees, subcontractors, volunteers, and partners. Evaluation results focus and motivate continuing investment of individual and collective energy. Even when your vision of the future is clear and persistent, you need feedback from your complex environment to adjust and adapt strategy as circumstances change and as you move closer to your goal. Besides all this, successful leaders produce results, so you only know your success when you see evidence of your results.
