Abstract
In 2000, Rocco Rosano, a commentator on US Intelligence, observed succinctly: ‘This topic is a very interesting one. While it can be demonstrated that “Intelligence Liaison” is imperative, it can be shown equally well that it is [no] substitute for other, more traditional defensive and offensive source programs and operations.’1
