Abstract
To valuably extend our understanding of the globalization of intelligence, the ‘intelligence liaison’ phenomenon is now disaggregated. In this chapter we will break down intelligence liaison into eight attributes or variables, followed by an explanation of how it at least appears to work and its rationale. This systematic analysis of intelligence liaison is offered to explain what constitutes the ‘building blocks’ that collectively contribute to the process of the globalization of intelligence. Common threads and seams exist, and so have enduring relevance in helping us reach an understanding of the globalization of intelligence.
