Abstract

The Economist magazine criticized Professor Paul Krugman for being more politically partisan than scientifically rigorous in his writing for the general public. However, he does have impressive scientific credentials, Professor of Economics and International Affairs at Princeton University, he received the John Bates Medal in Economics in 1991 and the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economics in 2008 for his analysis of trade patterns and location of economic activity.
