Abstract

Once more, refugee families had to adapt to a difficult and unfamiliar situation. They began to make new lives, always related to previous lives for the parental generation, entirely new for the younger generation. These efforts tell us much about their personalities and desires, as well as the lasting effects of their years as refugees.
