Abstract

From the outset I must make clear, based on 30 years experience in business and over 12 as Secretary General of UNICE, that I have the greatest respect for business associations, whether at the national or the EU level. With minimal resources, they consistently perform miracles on behalf of their members and provide valuable services to the political authorities with which they are in contact.

The views expressed are the author’s own and do not necessarily reflect those of UNICE.
