Abstract
We have already discussed the problems springing from the dichotomy of the church being a human institution that upholds divine truth. The same dichotomy applies to ethics, which is the subject of this chapter. At the risk of repeating myself, the root of all those problems lies precisely in the juxtaposition of “human” and “divine.”
What is good is also divine. Queer as it sounds, that sums up my ethics.
Ludwig Wittgenstein
