Understanding Homeland Security

Abstract

At approximately 9:34 am one spring morning, a white van crashes into the lobby of the Bank of America Tower in Seattle, Wash. Immediately, the van erupts, decimating the first ten floors and doing extensive damage to the remaining ones. The loss of life is initially reported at 1,200 and growing. Later in the day, the FBI receives a tape from a known terrorist organization claiming responsibility for the attack. In it, the man states that this is just the first bombing in a series of attacks on American symbols of capitalism.
