Abstract

Politics is a bad word. To many people, politicians come between used car dealers and estate agents in terms of trustworthiness – or indeed untrustworthiness. A heady mix of hypocrisy, spin and hubris means we have lost faith in politicians to do much for us. Everywhere, except where compulsory, we stop voting.
