Activities in the UN Context — Changing Patterns of Interaction

Since the mid-1990s, NGOs have had more opportunities to work with the UN, and they have adjusted to these by altering their pattern of activity towards the IGO. The dimensions of those NGO adjustments to the UN system are the subject of deeper analysis in this chapter. After having presented a framework for the range of possible activities between NGOs and the UN in the theoretical part, I now employ it on the set of NGOs chosen for this study in order to explore their respective adjustments over the last decade.
