Abstract

All business bears some degree of risk and in general terms, the greater the risk, the higher the return. The management of these risks is what sets good companies apart from bad ones. Global projects are a particularly dangerous arena, where risk management is the main underlying responsibility.

The good fighters of old first put themselves beyond the possibility of defeat, and then waited for an opportunity of defeating the enemy.
