Abstract

The world of projects, whether internal developments or, as in our careers within the engineering and construction environment, often seems like a battle zone. It is certainly clear that effective project management is a crucial part of the business arena. We can also empathize with the need for those currently in that arena, or thinking of entering it, to have a clear understanding of the basic approaches that are necessary to be successful.

The art of war is of vital importance to the State. It is a matter of life and death, a road either to safety or to ruin. Hence it is a subject of inquiry, which can on no account be neglected.
