Abstract

It is axiomatic to state that, if cross-border business is to be conducted by any means other than just trade, then an entry mode of some description will necessarily be involved. The selection and management of a foreign market servicing strategy therefore remains a cornerstone of international business, both as an academic discipline and as an activity (Contractor, 1997). The second section of the book is concerned with this important aspect of the organization of international business.
