Abstract
The journey from Luanda to Abidjan on Easter Saturday was accomplished much more comfortably than that to Addis Ababa. This time President Houphouet-Boigny sent one of his executive jets to fetch me and my entourage. The Côte d’lvoire Government also took care of transporting the UNITA delegation — I think from Kinshasa, a point they reached by their own means from Angola, their travel no doubt facilitated this time by their control of Huambo and large tracts of the Angolan countryside.
