Abstract

While there are a number of general texts on white-collar crime, most studies have concentrated on case studies, data analysis and theoretical debate. There are surprisingly few texts on the motivations of white-collar offenders, and even fewer which explore the accounts of their life after conviction. This book aims to make some progress towards closing these gaps, and is the result of a number of years’ research involving interviews with 41 incarcerated white-collar criminals.
