Abstract

In the theory of transcendent pluralism, group bias reflects a devaluation of the Other and a diminishing of human dignity. Such a devaluation can range from the cognitive level of mistaken stereotypes to devaluing actions of collective discrimination, social injustice, violence, and at the extreme, genocide.
