Abstract

The lectures I would like to give will no doubt be somewhat disjointed because they deal with things that I would like to have done with, as it were, in order to return, after this several years long Greco-Latin “trip,”1 to some contemporary problems which I will deal with either in the second part of the course, or possibly in the form of a working seminar.
