Abstract

The era of electric mobility is finally coming of age, and not a day too soon. Cars currently account for 7 percent of global carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions, and carmakers face immense pressure to develop vehicles that do not damage the planet. Electric mobility is seen as one of the master keys to reducing the world’s greenhouse gas emissions.
