Abstract

In terms of engaging with the literature both as a guide to the research and in order to inform the discussion of the results, the relative infancy of intranets/extranets presents initially some difficulty in that there is a dearth of material specifically addressing intranets/extranets. What literature there is available is either anecdotal or is ‘sponsored’ by consultants or firms involved heavily in providing ‘intranet and extranet solutions’ for organisations.
