Abstract
Globalization is a process which can have very different meanings which encompass
-
the harmonization of rules between countries and the institutionalization of international rules;
-
the increasing proportion of revenues and investments made in foreign markets by multinational corporations;
-
the liberalization of financial markets and the increasing international mobility of financial capital;
-
a growing number of non-domestic employees within private corporations, thus causing an international division of labour inside each company.
