Abstract

This case study is set in the offices of a global media and communications company in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. The company is divided into geographic regions and Henriette is head of The Netherlands, Belgium, Northern France and Luxemburg. Her clients range from major hotel chains to motor manufacturers and department stores. Henriette has run her region for two years, during which time there has been a small increase in client revenues. She has made it an ambition of hers to double revenues in the next five years, and has publicized this target throughout the region.
