Abstract

In Chapter 1 we emphasized the importance of careful design and good coordination to ensure the efficient functioning of the supply chain and its different components. Here, we discuss in detail the need for coordination between humanitarian organizations, and the levels and means through which coordination happens. We also discuss the challenges of coordinating during an emergency.
