Abstract
In this book, I critique examples of act-centred obligation-based moral theories and I conclude that traditional versions of these theories are incomplete and inadequate for use as a nursing ethics. Instead, I argue that a virtue-based approach to moral decision-making provides a more defensible and plausible nursing ethics.
