Abstract
This chapter reviews the randomized controlled trial we conducted to evaluate our intervention program. Analysis of the literature on web-based and coaching interventions for burnout and STS in mental health providers is offered. We review challenges in the implementation of the research. Overall results suggest the web-support system plus coaching was effective in reducing aspects of burnout at post-test and at follow-up. Important research comparisons with other interventions for burnout are offered. Finally, this chapter closes with clinical and practical implications that are highlighted based on our results.
