Abstract

The recent decade has witnessed the rise of nationalism in many states. This chapter focuses on the effects of nationalism on community formation in Russia and explores the impact of Russian nationalism on social inclusion and patriotism as opposed to its effect on the growing xenophobia toward certain ethno-religious groups.
