Abstract

Island Moldings, a small furniture manufacturing company which produces moldings, windows, and doors in St Kitts and Nevis has been surviving and prospering in the tough manufacturing sector in the small country of just over 60,000 people. The case outlines the early beginnings of the firm, its expansion over time and provides insights into the future of the enterprise. In addition, it focuses on the firm’s products, production processes, supply chain issues, and quality control processes as well. Similarly, the case also looks at the governance of the business and the business environment within which the firm operates and extrapolates how this environment will impact on its future.
