Studying Human Capital Development via Models of Interaction in School Classes

Abstract

The chapter presents a case-based study of learning dynamics in class. The Agent based model(ABM) is used to test participant actions and reactions in order to improve student attention and active involvement. This type of application is particularly interesting for economists studying human capital development, for educational sociologists, psychologists and education scientists.
