Abstract
In order to study the interaction between narratives, and capture transformations following it, an analytical framework that can grasp narrative transformations has been developed. When searching for an appropriate operative scheme, I was inspired by Archer’s morphogenesis approach, as it was developed in Culture and Agency (1996 [1988]). The model is based on a processual understanding of reality and proposes an analytical distinction between structure and agency. The model has been adapted to incorporate a conceptualization of narrative.
