Abstract

In this chapter we shall address the pattern of equivalence between Russia and the EU that takes place when the integrative logics are deployed by both parties in relation to each other. According to our theoretical model, in this pattern both actors must consciously suspend the ontopological delimitations of their respective political communities and thus embark on the constitution of a common space, in which a new form of political identity may be constituted in cross-border interaction.
