Introduction

Corporate Social Responsibility: Perspectives from Asia
  • Geoffrey Williams

Abstract

The concept of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in Asia differs in many ways from the current understanding and development of CSR in the West. CSR in Asia is distinctive and dynamic and reflects the diversity and vibrancy of a region that includes some of the most developed and some of the least developed economies in the world.
