Abstract
Satnav is a must-have. But is it a sexy, flash-in-the-pan toy, or a serious bit of business kit no one can do without? Clearly the latter. And dare one say it: particularly useful for the fairer sex, demonstrably shown to be less good on a range of spatial tasks like map-reading? Or perhaps the travelling rep who can’t drive and map-read simultaneously?
