Putting Time into Time Perspective

Abstract

Cross-disciplinary research recognizes the importance of temporal features within research. This chapter continues in this spirit by arguing for the inclusion of temporal features in the study of time perspective. The incorporation of time into a largely static body of literature is challenging, and requires a change in mindset, philosophical assumptions, research methods, and study design. These elements are integrated within a problematization framework that critiques existing literature and suggests new research directions.
