Abstract

In this final chapter, we revisit the seven guiding principles presented at the outset of this text related to a biosocial, life-course approach to understanding drug abuse and antisocial behavior. Additionally, we consider salient empirical and theoretical questions that remain unanswered by the current research in these areas, highlighting in particular the necessity for additional biosocial measurement, the use of life-course designs, and collaboration with transdisciplinary teams. Simply put, we conclude this text by revisiting what has been learned, acknowledging what remains unanswered, and looking forward to the road ahead.
