Abstract

A new value of the ratio of the heavy elements content to hydrogen abundance Z/X has been recently estimated in the solar atmosphere. We present the consequences of this result on the solar standard model and we examine the sensitivity to Z/X of the solar neutrinos flux predictions and of the oscillation frequencies.
