Abstract

The protein Langmuir-Blodgett films can be divided into five groups by different deposition techniques. These films of membrane fragments, membrane proteins, immobilized proteins, water soluble proteins, and modified parts of proteins are discussed along with their properties by the interpretation of special examples.
