Abstract
Still more precise results can be obtained. These require more detailed arguments which will be presented elsewhere. In this paper we have increased noticeably the lower bounds in some of Halász's contributions to Turán's power-sum theory. In doing so, our objective has been to follow the book's methodology, to provide estimates of the same form and of the same simplicity.
