Abstract

The Behaviour Spaces of the Cuspoid Catastrophes are generated as surfaces by the loci of maximum and minimum values of a Generalized Potential Energy Function of the form:

$$V = xn + A\frac{{xn - 2}}{{n - 2}} + ... + Px.$$

The present series of papers present a series of sterographic-pair photographs and therefore permit the three-dimensional rereconstruction of the Behaviour Space by the optical fusion of the separate pairs of the photographs.
